Volunteers may pick multiple committees in multiple shifts. Below are the Job Descriptions.
Committees:
Distribution Volunteer:
To treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect. To distribute goods to the beneficiaries in a pleasant manner and to follow the guidelines as provided by the committee chair
Site Monitor Volunteer:
To treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect. To provide crowd control services at the site to ensure order and flow of traffic. Report all incidents to the chair for resolution.
Cleaning Volunteer:
To treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect. To assure that the site is clean and in order throughout the event. Also, to keep the used clothes area in order all the times and refer to the Chair for any questions or discrepancies
Setup Volunteer:
To treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect. To load, unload, setup and tear down the site and refer questions and discrepancies to the chair
Health Fair Volunteer:
To treat beneficiaries with dignity and respect. To provide for health screening for all beneficiaries and to refer any questions or discrepancies to the chair

12:00P - 5P
Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:

Volunteers will be provided with
- T-Shirt
- Water
- Breakfast (masjid Al-Islam)
- Lunch (MLK Site)
- Provisions for prayers
Where to arrive:
Volunteers must park at Masjid Al-Islam. Shuttle service is provided from the car to the site.

Where to report:
Once arrived at the site via a shuttle, report to the Volunteer Coordinator desk. You would be given your assignment.
What to bring:
Sun Shades, Sun Blocks, Light weight and loose fitting comfortable clothes, Shoes with rubber soles that cover the entire foot, Baseball cap/Sun visor, Rain Pochos.
